Plissé is known for its pleated lines and timeless style, based on some of Pillivuyt's early moulds from the beginning of the 1900s. Its delicate pleating is recognised worldwide as the epitome of understated French elegance. The porcelain is not only exceptionally resistant to knocks and impacts. Pillivuyt ovenproof porcelain also withstands thermal shock from -30°C to +350°C, so you can take a dish from the freezer directly into a hot oven. Prepare a tart, lasagne or any other dish, freeze it and place it in a very hot oven whenever convenient. These unique properties come from the special porcelain body and the extremely high firing temperature.
Pillivuyt porcelain also absorbs and distributes heat optimally, keeping food warm long after it leaves the oven. Made in France.
